I wanted to sing for the worship team at the church where I go to. Also I desired to play a musical instrument, and I have never played one before. As I was listening to different people playing the harp, I felt so peaceful. I know now that God wants me to play a musical instrument, and that instrument is the harp. I don't own one, and I can't afford to buy one yet. I will have to wait until I can afford a used, beginners harp to play beautiful, heavenly music. I have never been so at peace by listening to the harp until now.

It's time I shared my own experience with my own CD. Afterall, I began learning the harp 15 years to find a sense of peace. Each time I go to the dentist or have a medical procedure or do my taxes, I put on the CD. I wear headphones through the dental visit to counteract the loud sound of the drill. It's amazing how pain and anxiety can vanish when our attention is on something other than ourselves or our own challenges. I hope that the music brings you peace as well.

This resonance repatterning is amazing stuff. What revelations it brings--the keys to explore oneself deeply....so now, so needed, so necessary, so nurturing.. So helpful it was a couple of weeks ago in helping me "retune."

I have always been longing to be able to play an instrument and when I look at people playing the harp and seems like the words, 'Perhaps I can!' floats up. I like using my fingers to express my feelings, like typing out my feelings on the computer. Talking too much with words might sound like a nuisance to others. Now I would like to learn to play the harm and use the music to express my inner self and perhaps that can sound better and hopefully it won't frustrate others. I like the idea from Christine that learning is very individual. I like the idea of learning a skill on the internet. I like those small harps of different colors, very handy and yet sounds beautiful. Tell me where I can buy one and start learning? I want to be with the angels in heaven. The symbol of an angel is that they have wings and there is a harp in their hands.

Last week's Skype lesson left me feeling just incredible. I have been in a wonderful, uplifted energy ever since. I never would have thought that any instrument could move energy as the harp does. We simply need to get out of the way and let the music flow through us. just amazing

The last five years have been stressful for me, and I have been looking for ways to reduce tension. I turned to music in the hopes that learning an instrument would bring positive "notes" back to my life. I realized what I wanted was not just pleasant, recognizable sound from an instrument, but a genuine feeling / sensation of being with the instrument in the moment...a heathy, no-stress partnership between musician and instrument. So, then, I began in earnest to explore the harp, harp music, harp stuff. It then occurred to me to explore lessons and other harp forums on the Internet. This search brought me to your excellent web site and to your wonderful music of heart and soul. Your site and your encouragement are blessings as well as inspirations. This is a place of peace. I can see that I will be a frequent visitor here as I explore my own harp journey and discover my own "harp"beat.

"Receiving 'The Harper's Diary' was like getting a delicious, rich cheesecake. I could only consume a small piece at a time without many tears of joy welling up from heart. It took 4 days to complete the feast. I read every word from the front side of the front cover to the back side of the back cover. I've been playing your CD almost continuously since receiving it, every nite as I go to bed, and it plays my dog and I to sleep. I've not heard the like for stress and "letting go-emptying oneself"

I play your CD every night as I go to sleep. I used to have such a hard time going to sleep..tossing and turning and not able to turn my thoughts "off". Sometimes it would take me hours to fall asleep. Now I fall asleep quickly and stay asleep, awaking rested and refreshed. I can't tell you how much I enjoy your music.
